UVA CS_4710-002
This course will introduce the fundamental concepts and techniques for building artificial intelligence (AI) systems and how AI is applied to problems. Core material includes state space search, probabilistic reasoning, learning from examples, reinforcement learning, and generative AI. Prerequisite: CS 2150 or CS 3100 with a grade of C- or better.
<aside> 💡 NOTE: CS_4710-002 and CS_4710-001 are sharing the syllabus, homework, mid-term, and final project topic. We will cover the same materials in both classes. Content-wise, there is no difference between the two sections. The main differences are the teaching team and time.

The course will be delivered through lectures. In addition to two lectures a week, students will have 5 homework (written + programming), a mid-term exam, and a final project to practice the concepts presented in the lectures.
